CHRISTINE M. FLETCHER, 58 ROCKFORD - Our loving Christine M. Fletcher departed this earthly life Oct. 28, 2012. She was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Rockford, daughter of Ewell and Alberta Fletcher Sr. She lived more than 35 years in Nashville, Tenn., coming from Rockford. After matriculating to Nashville, Christine joined Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church; the pastor there was the Rev. Foster G. Young. Christine was a faithful member until her health began to fail. She was last employed as a quality control operator by the Equity Group for 20 years before retiring. She was predeceased by parents, Alberta and Ewell Fletcher Sr.; two brothers, Wayne Fletcher and David Fletcher; and one sister, Georgia Fletcher. Her celebration of life is remembered by loving and devoted daughter, Terrica Fletcher-Burns; and three grandchildren, Jakourie, Addyson and Morgan; inseparable twin sister, Celestine Fletcher, all of Nashville; and brother, Ewell (Edna) Fletcher Jr. of Rockford; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
