KEVIN S. MOLINE, 56 LYMAN, S.C. - Kevin S. Moline, 56, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011. Kevin retired in 2009 to his own little peace of heaven on Lake Lyman in South Carolina after 30 years as an operating engineer for Local 150 in Rockford. He had a soft spot for Chevy Novas, dancing, animals, and country music. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching NASCAR, go No. 24! Kevin was a friend of Bill W. and was grateful for his extended AA family. He will be greatly missed. Dad, we hope you find the peace you've been searching for. We love you. Survived by brother, Kris (Diane) Moline; daughters, Shannon (Victor) Moline-Giron and Tracie (Mark) Robertson; grandchildren, David and Desmond Giron and Isabella and Isaac Robertson; several aunts and uncles; special cousin, Jeff Moline; sister-in-law, Debbie Moline; good friend, Jack Hada; special friends from South Carolina, Mike and Patty Comer, Doris Green, Judy Clark, Mark and Angie Brown, Val Lopez, Laura Firlich, Billy Elliot and Wayne Anderson. Predeceased by parents, Wesley and Beverly (Koch) Moline and brother, Douglas Moline. Visitation and service from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1829 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter.
