.jpg) WENDELL HADEN WHITE, 57 ORANGE, Calif. - Wendell Haden White, 57, entered into eternal bliss with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012. Born June 3, 1954, in Canton, Ohio, to Robert Luther and Ellarie (Skaggs) White. He grew up in Rockford, Ill., graduating from Auburn High School. Enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps on July 26, 1972, Wendell retired as a gunnery sergeant upon completion of 21 years active duty. Wendell married Dawn Wynelle Emmons on Oct. 25, 1975. Survived by his wife; sons, Wendell Haden (Lisa) White Jr., and Phillip Gabriel White of Orange; granddaughter, Angela White; brothers, Robert Luther White Jr., Clenny Norbert (DiAnn) White and Brendan (Kathryn) White; sisters, Valarie Eileen (Clyde) Dunbar and Gwendolyn Yvonne Bartholomee; 22 nephews and nieces; 42 grandnephews and nieces; one great-grandnephew; among many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents. Memorial service was held Feb. 16, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church in Santa Ana, followed by a full honors military burial in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside. Semper fidelis (Always Faithful).
