ESTHER M. ERICKSON, 90 ROCKFORD - Miss Esther M. Erickson, 90, of Rockford died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Born Jan. 6, 1916, in Rockford, the daughter of Carl and Hilda (Sandgren) Erickson. Graduated from Rockford Central High School in 1934. She was employed as the office secretary at Auburn High School from 1962 to 1982. Member of First Evangelical Covenant Church, where she was formerly a Sunday school teacher and senior choir member. Survived by many friends. Predeceased by parents; and brother, Carl D. Erickson. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 30, in Scandinavian Cemetery, with Pastor Emmett Swanson officiating.
