 Donald J. Beckemeyer 1954—2017Donald J. Beckemeyer, 63, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017. Born December 1, 1954, to Lester and Jennie (Guastella) Beckemeyer in Rockford, Illinois. Don attended Saint Patrick's Grade School and Auburn High School in Rockford, IL.
Don was a very ambitious and self-motivated entrepreneur. He was a very hard worker throughout his life. His talent and love for playing pool led him into the billiards business in the 1980's. Don was the owner of Don's Pool Tables and Spas in Rockford, IL for over 20 years before moving to Arizona.
Don was a very proud father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He always had a strong love for his family, his work, traveling, warm weather, music, playing the drums and Corvettes. While in Arizona Don enjoyed his work in the billiards business, real estate and sports cars. He was full of personality and fun-loving, with a great sense of humor. Time spent with Don always included fun, laughter and great memories.
Don is survived by many loving family members. Including his daughters, Michelle (Craig) DeGutis and Danielle Beckemeyer; sisters, Joan (Clark) Heinzman, Lunda (Dave) McCollum, Cira (Moe) Passley, Marilyn Allen and Judy (Brad) Clark; grandson, Dylan DeGutis; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
