Eileen M. Lindsey, 71, Rockford, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, May 27, 1994, in her home.  Born July 5, 1922, in Rockford, daughter of Joseph and Louise (Shepp) Sughroue.  Married William A. Lindsey in Rockford, May 25, 1946; he predeceased her March 4, 1987.
Employed as bookkeeper at Auburn High School for 23 years, retiring in 1989.  Member Sts. Peter and Paul Church.  Graduated from Muldoon High School and attended Sienna Heights College.
Survivors; four daughters, Patricia Crossno, Marie Lindsey and Dawn Lindsey, Rockford, and Jacqueline (James) Fox, Clarksville, Tenn.; two sons, Paul Lindsey and Francis (Karen) Lindsey, Rockford; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.  Also predeceased by three grandchildren and two brothers.
Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, in Sts. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Michael Morrissey, pastor, officiating.  Burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in ANDERSON-LONG-KLONTZ FUNERAL HOME, Park Avenue at North Court Street, with rosary at 7:30 p.m.  Memorials to Northern Illinois Hospice.
