David Douglas Kalber

David D. Kalber, 72, passed asway on Dec. 31, 2006, while visiting his father I Texas. David was a counselor for Auburn High School for many years. He delivere for Meals on Wheels and was active at the Northwest Community Center; he also taught senior citizens at Rock Valley College. Survived by his father, Fred Kalber; sister, Donna (Pete) Petrie; foster son, Rex Thompson of Rockford; granddaughter, Kara and many nieces and nephews.
Service was held Jan. 21, 2007, in Independence, Kan.
